Run Lola Lola run!
Goooood Morning friends! I’m writing you on my way to Cache Creek. I’m presently sitting on the Ferry from Nanaimo to Vancouver. Those 2 days in Nanaimo have been awesome but passed by way too fast. I’m not even sure where the time went. Our activation at the Palace on Monday night was quite interesting. We didn’t know what to expect since we never have been to this place before. We were happy to see this mixed crowed of partiers dancing all over the dance floor & the stage under the colourful disco lights and swimming into the bubbles.
The next morning we were visiting the Vancouver Island University. We were right by the Cafeteria and so we had to try what the “Chefs en devenir” cooked for lunch. Oh wow… Salmon with almond sauce on a wild rice cranberry bed with stuffed tomatoes on the side. I am still licking my fingers! Good job Chefs! We even saw some familiar faces from the Palace… Good to see you again Chantal! But the highlight of the day was certainly from Liz who stopped by our tent with that gorgeous smile, telling her all about her story regarding her new life without smoking. 2 weeks ago she took one of the best decision of her life: she stopped smoking. Even though it was probably the hardest 2 weeks she experimented, she now feels healthier than ever. Take her example and go for a run instead of going for a smoke :)
