Prince George was quite the adventure! It was a long drive up from Victoria but much easier coming back down. We’re in Kamloops now. It took us two days with an overnight rest stop in the tiniest town I ever stayed in. That’s the farthest we’ll go up north for this leg of the tour. You know you’ve come a long way when you see moose and a deer by the roadside twice in one day on the way to and from work. One minute I was admiring this big beautiful beast with huge horns and all, then next thing you know it’s jumping in front of the vehicle to cross the road. Luckily I was at a distance to have enough time to stop. That was exciting and scary all at the same time!
Anyway, the students at UNBC were great! There was a lot of story sharing and picture taking but a lot of camera shy students too.
